Addleshaw Goddard

We worked with MCM for Addleshaw Goddard's new office where they needed to bring their two London offices together. MCM was appointed to undertake the interior design and to assist Addleshaw Goddard to use their building to change the way they do business and the way they portray themselves to clients.

The new building has a large central atrium, which allows for much more visual and physical connectivity. The ground floor contains the auditorium and staff restaurant with client meeting and dining facilities on the 1st floor.

Addleshaw Goddard’s new building is the next generation of legal workplace. The working floors are not cellular, but neither are they open plan in the conventional sense. This more open workplace solution is supported by a network of local meeting spaces – both formal and informal, quiet spaces, relaxation spaces and breakout areas. Every space is considered a potential working space, with variety as the key.

The client areas are designed on a highly serviced hotel principle. Clients and visitors from other offices are encouraged to drop in to use the facilities which comprise a variety of work and meeting settings again, supported by appropriate technology, including extensive wi-fi areas, teleconferencing and video conferencing facilities.
