At the Savoy, an extension being built at the prestigious London hotel had to match the glazed brick facade of the original building. However, to reduce costs and construction times the new structure was made of blockwork and we had to match the existing bricks and create a lightweight back slip that would match, both in colour variation and size variation of the original.
