55 Victoria Street is near completion!
We have just finished working with the talented Stiff+Trevillion and the results really speak for themselves. We used a range of beautiful marbles for the bathrooms and had bespoke glazed tiles produced for the walls.
This tired 1980's office building has been converted into 54 luxury apartments with banking and retail at ground floor. The massing of the existing building was readdressed to provide a vertical element at the point where Victoria Street changes direction. The building was stripped back to the frame, extended, and re-clad with Petersen facing brickwork. The apartments benefit from the generous ceiling heights of the existing building, and a new decked garden to the South for residents use has been created.
In Situ went to Carrara, Italy to obtain the perfect blocks for 55 Victoria Street. Here are a couple of images from their visit last year.
